Much of a Nigerian file needs little translation, because Nigeria registers births, marriages and deaths in English and issues passports, court papers and academic records in English, so a Yoruba applicant usually already holds English documents. On those files the certified work is checking and preparing existing English records rather than translating Yoruba text.
