Chuukese has several island dialects, so when you book tell us the speaker's home island where you can, and note any related Micronesian language they also use, so we can identify a suitable interpreter or the closest workable match. Availability is limited for so small a community, and we are open about that rather than overstating what can be arranged, which matters most in an Immigration and Refugee Board hearing.

Chuukese is written in the Latin alphabet, but civil records from the Federated States of Micronesia are issued in English, so certified document work runs from English rather than from Chuukese, and translation is sometimes needed the other way to explain Canadian papers. We provide a full translation with a signed certificate of translation accuracy, or a sworn affidavit before a commissioner of oaths where required.
