Neapolitan (Napulitano) is a Romance language spoken by around 5 million people in southern Italy - Campania (especially Naples), Calabria, Basilicata, and parts of Abruzzo and Molise. It's classified as a separate language from Italian by UNESCO and many linguists, though Italian dominates in administration and education.
