Mirpuri is close to Punjabi and Pothwari but is not the same, and a speaker booked as an Urdu or standard Punjabi interpreter may not follow it comfortably, so it is worth requesting Mirpuri specifically. Many speakers also understand Urdu, but an older speaker, or a witness under stress in a hearing, is often clearer in Mirpuri, and matching on that keeps testimony accurate.
